Costa Rica Outward Bound is an experiential education program designed to inspire and develop leadership, compassion, responsibility, respect for the environment and commitment to serve through adventure-based wilderness experiences in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama.

Semester Courses Imagine Central America as both your classroom and playground! Backpack, surf, raft, kayak and scuba dive while experiencing new cultures and earning college credit. Choose from Tri-Country Semester, Water & Wave Semester, Leadership Semester and Summer Semester.

Summer Adventures Create an amazing summer! Trek through jungles. Explore volcanoes. Surf ocean waves. Brave Class IV rapids. Learn to scuba dive. Or perhaps do a bit of everything! Check out our Multi-Element, Surf Intensive, Scuba/Volcano Exploration, and Kayak Adventure.

Girl Scout Destinations Share unforgettable international adventures with other Girl Scouts while exploring Costa Rica. Whatever you enjoy, you will find it here in one of our specially designed Girl Scout destination courses: Service Challenge, Catching Waves, Underwater Explorers, or Rainforest, River & Reef.
